Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript (Vue.js) Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior JavaScript (Vue.js) Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.Looking to hire a Vue.js Developer for the Experiment Platform team, who is building components that are used by several teams across the company to set up, run, and manage Experiments and Feature Flags that optimize their development and help their decision making. Work with world-class engineers and other talented teams, who will support you while you champion important streams of work. You'll work closely with the Technology Manager and other internal business owners to ensure you build great UI components that help our users in their Experimentation journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking the progress that you are making towards the wider goals of your team, and transparently communicate that progress to your team
  • Learn and contribute to the processes, standards and design principles used by The Experiment Platform team and wider web related engineering guilds
  • Contribute to the definition of features, always ensuring we provide an outstanding UI /UX experience to our users
  • Communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teams
  • Take responsibility for owning your changes all the way through to prove that they work well – and continue to work well – in production

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Master JavaScript and ES6
  • Strong TypeScript Experience
  • Experience with Vue (Vue 2 and Vue 3)
  • Composition API, Options API, Vite, Webpack, Pinia, Yarn, ESLint
  • Experience with Nuxt (Nuxt 3)
  • Experience writing unit tests in JavaScript using Jest or a similar framework
  • Experience working with SASS/LESS or another CSS preprocessor
  • Experience working with an Agile methodology
  • Experience working in a Continuous Delivery cycle
  • A passion for front-end development
  • Good written and spoken skills
  • Demonstrates self-starting skills (working independently to complete tasks)
  • Aptitude to learn through a variety of resources (online, pairing, shadowing)
  • Attention to detail

  • Experimentation / Feature Flagging
  • Node.js
  • Jest
  • Building and maintaining Javascript SDKs
  • WebPack or other build tools
  • Cypress web testing (high priority)
  • OpenAPI, experience with Web APIs / http etc. (medium priority)
  • Percy / Browserstack (low priority)
  • Accessibility in web applications
  • Measuring and improving page performance
  • Design principles and experience working closely with designers
