Ciklum is looking for a Senior .Net Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

As a Senior .Net Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Their mission: To empower every food moment around the world, whether it’s through customer service, coding or couriers.
You will be part of the Data Platform team and contribute to the infrastructure teams that build tools enabling data products based on messaging and streaming solutions. The Messaging Integrations and Streaming teams are responsible for messaging infrastructure, configuration, and general use streaming solutions at JET, and we are looking to accelerate our new federated data lakes and support (near) real-time customer data use cases. The senior team members have a safe amount of autonomy and a unique opportunity for technical development, as well as help shape the future of data platform at JET.
Responsibilities
- You will play a vital role in collaborating with the data teams to build and enhance our tooling for managing messaging and streaming services at JET
- You will be implementing templatable code to transform and manipulate data
- You will develop and optimize backend solutions on AWS, including deploying services on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and leveraging AWS cloud services
- You will define technical solutions through our ADR process
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
- Work with Docker containers for application packaging and deployment
- Implement and maintain messaging systems using SQS/SNS Or Kafka
- Design, develop, and optimise databases, including NoSQL and SQL databases, for data storage and retrieval
- The team operates within the Agile – SCRUM framework, emphasising flexibility, continuous improvement, and high-impact collaboration. We engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, which are foundational to our approach in managing projects and driving innovation
- Master the craft of writing high-quality, thoroughly tested code within a large team
- Lead projects, mentor peers, and collaborate effectively. Introduce innovative ideas and develop robust, well-considered code
- Adhere to and help refine the team’s standards and processes. Contribute to setting these standards to ensure continuous improvement
- Pursue ongoing personal development by learning from teammates and applying this knowledge to benefit the team and enhance the applications
- Clearly communicate the technical efforts of your team to other engineering groups
- Own the responsibility for your updates from development through to their successful performance in production
- Experience owning streams of work, from design to support in production
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of C# .NET
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including experience with EKS, Lambda, RDS, and other relevant services
- Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
- Experience with CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions
- Devops skills are a big plus as a lot of work will be in there
- Familiarity with open standards, such as OpenAPI or AsyncAPI Specs
- Prior experience with messaging systems, preferably SQS/SNS or Kafka
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile processes and team structure
- Microservice architectures and/or event-driven programming
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of when a pragmatic approach is needed
- An understanding of code design for efficiency and readability
- Commitment to writing tests as a definition of done
