Ciklum is looking for a Senior Vue.JS Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

They’re looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

You will become a part of a positive, engaged, and motivated team of strong professionals based in Ukraine, England and Europe centers.

Responsibilities

  • Front end development of our internal and partner-facing tools
  • Taking part in the decision-making process in design application architecture, solution development, architecture and code review
  • Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solution
  • Ensuring suitable code coverage with various types of test (unit, integration, functional, etc)
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Working in an international distributed team in an Agile environment
  • Communicate with PMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholders
  • Delivering the product roadmap and plannings
  • To use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Frontend development
  • Extensive experience as a Frontend Developer using Vue
  • Experience in working with a state management library such as Vuex or Pinia
  • Experience with semantic markup languages (HTML), JavaScript and CSS
  • Team player – Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with:
    • Troubleshooting, profiling and debugging applications
    • Agile software processes and technologies
    • Code Review process
    • Refactoring process

Desirable

  • Knowledge in Deployment patterns
  • Practical commercial experience with:
    • Serverless architecture
    • Integration with 3rd party solutions
    • Quality tools (e.g. SonarQube)
    • Design tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Understanding of network interactions:
    • protocols
    • conventions (e.g. REST, RPC)
    • authentication and authorization flows
    • standards and practices (e.g. oAuth, JWT)
  • Experience with TypeScript, Micro frontend, Jest/Playwright testing
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum), Git

  • Investigate, define and resolve complex issues
  • Able to work in distributed cross-functional teams effectively
  • Influence customers and team members on the project level
  • May supervise others or make decisions which impact the work assigned to individuals or phases of projects
  • Plan, schedule and monitor your own work (and of others where applicable) competently
  • Have learning agility (readiness for challenge and being open to change)
  • Confident Intermediate English (or higher) is a must
