About the role:

The Senior Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing our paid media strategy across multiple platforms including Google Search, LinkedIn, Programmatic Media, YouTube advertising, Google Display Network, and more. This individual will leverage their expertise in media buying and campaign management to optimize performance, drive conversions, and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the paid media strategy to drive targeted traffic, leads, and conversions in alignment with company objectives and target audience preferences
  • Manage media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Search, LinkedIn, Programmatic Media, YouTube advertising, Google Display Network, and other relevant channels
  • Oversee the media buying process, including negotiating rates, securing placements, and managing budgets exceeding $50,000 per month
  • Optimize campaign performance based on data analysis, leveraging insights to refine targeting, bidding strategies, messaging, and creative assets
  • Build and manage ad groups, campaigns, and targeting parameters to ensure maximum reach and effectiveness
  • Edit and feedback on compelling ad copy and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement and conversions
  • Collaborate with media houses and external partners to flight media, negotiate terms, and ensure campaign delivery meets quality standards and deadlines
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, leveraging new technologies and tactics to optimize campaign performance
  • Manage and optimize tracking setup using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to accurately capture user interactions, conversions, and attribution data
  • Implement advanced tagging strategies, including custom tags, triggers, and variables, to track and measure specific user actions and events across digital touchpoints
  • Combine data from different platforms, including advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and website analytics tools, to create comprehensive reports on the full user journey and campaign performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on media buying and campaign management
  • Proven track record of managing media campaigns with monthly budgets exceeding $50,000 per month
  • Strong proficiency in managing campaigns across Google Search, LinkedIn, Programmatic Media, YouTube advertising, Google Display Network, and other relevant channels
  • Experience working with CRM and CMS systems, like HubSpot, as well as content & marketing management systems like Asana
  • Experience optimizing campaign performance based on data analysis and insights
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage ad groups, online campaigns, and targeting parameters
  • Experience working with media houses and external partners to flight media and negotiate terms
  • Proficiency in analyzing key performance metrics and providing actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including hands-on experience with tags, triggers, variables, and data layer implementation
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques and A/B testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with combining data from different platforms and reporting on the full user journey, from advertising platforms to the website
